Lets Start Knitting
I must say this is my favourite hobby in the craft area, as we can do such creative things with knitting. Our main concentration has been on Biblical shawls, knee rugs and blankets. Who would have thought we would spend our very precious spare time knitting things together. However, I must tell you how this part of our program got started.
Even though I just loved knitting or crocheting squares to make patchwork blankets, I was very inspired by another Internet Service business called "DigKnitty Designs". When we saw the beautiful designs DigKnitty Designs had created, and such affordable prices for the patterns I decided to put these squares together and make our biblical shawls for breast cancer patients, angels and crosses, doves for biblical knee rugs and baby blankets. DigKnitty Designs has the most extraordinary ideas with their patterns. So go over and visit them to see what you like to start your very first Project and see how it turns out. Believe me it will grow on you, and you will be still knitting week after week and year after year.
We must remember we cannot do it all, creating patterns, doing all the knitting or crocheting, especially if the purpose is to knit things together for others in hardship in foreign countries, but Lisa Millan tells a story in her wonderful website with such wonderful creative patterns to suit many occasions.
